ok this is annoying. didn't stay up too late last night as I was tired, but got woken up at around 4pm by Fidget and Crotchspider (next door's cat) fighting in the living room. From the looks of the sofa, and the clumps of hair that were decorating it when I came downstairs this morning, Fidget was winning. What I'm guessing happened was Fidget was merrily sleeping on the sofa, and then t'other cat thought he'd be sneaky and come in the window to nick the food.

One of them has definately been spraying in the house too, there was definite smell of cat when I went downstairs to sort them out at 4am.

They stopped fighting after I sorted them out, and so I did get to go back to sleep, only to wake up pre-8am completely unable to go back to sleep! Jamie is merrily snoring away, so its very quiet in the house atm. just me and the cat.

Yesterday was a very nice day. Took Fidget to the vet in the morning, which was stress free and lovely. Then kicked Jamie out of bed and we went into London.

Went to the Science Museum, and it was very cool. We also had dinner in Ask on Gloucester Road, and that was nice too.

And when we came home there was Australia vs New Zealand to watch, and it was very good.

And then we watched the wrestling too, just because we have Sky so we can!

Has been ages since I had a Saturday where I didnt have to go anywhere, or do anything in particular.

as it says, sundays are for gardening, and other weekend type activities. so this afternoon was spent hacking at the death trap in the corner of our garden. There was a huge patch of stinging nettles and bind weed. now there is just bare gravel and a few shoots we missed. we also downsized the holly bush somewhat.

this is all in an effort to create room for our new shed. Jamie has to level the ground out one evening this week, and then we're good to go with putting the shed up (apparently it takes 2 people 10 hours!!) on Saturday.

In the course of our gardening, we discovered the extent to which the fence between us and next door is full of holes, we found a large toad, I found an enormous harvestman spider thing, and we found 2 snails mating, which was very unusual.

photos of the snail porn to follow when i have uploaded them!
