cats and drinks and things of that nature

Got a message from the vets yesterday, they've got a couple of possible leads from Fidget's microchip ID, and they're looking into them. The woman sounded rather concerned, and she did say it was "odd", so it could well be that they won't be able to find anybody, and we'll get to keep Fidget after all!

I have been researching the location of my nearest Cats Protection branch however, just in case we do end up having to give Fidget away, as now I've got used to having a cat, I don't want to have to get used to not having one again!

Went out for drinks after work with work people last night, as it was Rachel's last day. It was nice, actually, to get out and have a few drinks and a bit of a natter. Not done it in a while.

Also not drunk anything in a while, so what little I did have went a long way, and led to me getting rather drunk and tired and having all kinds of weird dreams, and stuff. Not good.

Can't believe its august already.
