le weekend
Sep. 12th, 2005 10:04 pmright i've been putting this entry off for the last hour or so, as i didnt want to wake Jamie up, but he's had his hour's kip (plus the extra half an hour he always asks for) so if my typing wakes him up, I dont care!
lots of stuff to talk about here, lets start with the rest of the weekend.
Jamie of course had a wonderful time at Gunfest, and came home talking of nothing but Zombies, and Shotgun-joy..
I had a very very nice evening at Lucy's, I elected to drive there and back which meant I didnt drink nearly as much wine as I should have :-) we had very very nice food (mexican style) and played several games of Pictionary (which Ann and I won, both times, we were a very good team). It got a bit competetive towards the end but was all good fun. Ann's chocolate pudding was divine, which is a good thing as she spent the whole evening going on about how amazing it was going to be!
I stayed at Lucy's till 3am, chatting to Lucy and Ian after everyone else had gone home. It was much fun.
Sunday was spent lazing about waiting for Jamie to come home. I bought a new computer game (School Tycoon) which is ok.
Today, Katherine came over to see me, which was cool. We spent the day shopping in Reading and I bought a new jacket and a new bag. It was really nice to see her outside of Maelstrom. The weather was fabulous, of course.
Today was also the day of Jamie's job interview with the recruitment consultants. it would seem the interview went really well, and we hold high hopes of Jamie getting the (rather sensibly paid) job. We shall know by Thursday.
Today was also the day of my new mp3 player being shipped (so it will arrive tomorrow). I actually got a text message from the company to tell me they'd shipped my order. how cool is that.
Today was also the day my new phone arrived, a funky Sony Eriksson k750i. I have just performed the tedious process of entering my address book, and will register the SIM card tomorrow. I shall be cancelling my O2 contract in a couple of weeks, and transferring the number across to my new Orange contract, so there should be no need for telling people my new number, as if all goes to plan, the number will not change. but I now have a phone with a really good digital camera in it. and mp3 player. and stuff. its cool
Dammit my frantic typing noises dont appear to be waking Jamie up. I am afraid I will have to go jump on his head.
Excuse me
