the election

right i've tried to pay attention. i've tried to find out a) what each party claims they are going to do and b) how this is going to affect me.

i've tried to be interested and keep up with everything. i have Jeremy Paxman interviewing Charles Kennedy on the telly right now, but all i can here is "Waaa waaa waaa waaa waa"

what the hell can i do to make myself interested? i want to vote, i want to make an informed choice, i dont just want to walk in and put my cross in a random box, a choice based on i dont know, what the candidates look like, or (as in the only other election i've voted in) voting for the only candidate that i've met out of the choice..

this is really irritating me
