And finally my life is back to normal!
Jul. 7th, 2004 11:42 amHello folks
1 week without the internet does funny things to me i've noticed. Have spent the last week with noone but Beaver for company, which probably also does strange things to one's sanity. Well i say noone, I'm not including his parents or my parents in that. or any of the random strangers i've spoken to in shops etc. cos they dont count.
It suddenly struck me on Thursday evening, while beaver was in work, that I wasnt in York anymore. I was watching Eastenders and realised that I should be getting ready to go out, since it was Thursday and in York, thursday means pub. and then I realised I wasnt there. It made me kind of sad.
All the furniture is finally here and constructed, and I've managed to unpack everything. MY parents are going to have a small shock when they see the flat tomorrow, and notice the array of animal skins on the floor (something like 6 at the moment, will inevitably increase as time passes and we find more cheap springboks on ebay). But now the internet works and everything is good.
Graduating on Friday, so at least get to see everyone in York on Thursday night, since Rosie is having a housewarming party. Then all the poncing around in robes before the forced visit to my Granny's to show her the photos my parents will undoubtedly take.
Now all I need is to find a job...
