If you read this, even if I don't speak to you often, post a memory of me. It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad, just so long as it happened.

Then post this to your journal. See what people remember about you.

it was a corkscrew, i think we eventually decided. It is also one of my lasting LARP memories, unfortunately, but mainly because I remember how great everyone was in helping me sort myself out (Rob and Lawrence for on site first aid, Ed and Jen for driving me to an from Hospital, and Beav for helping me gaffa-tape a plastic bag to my bum so i could have a shower when i got back from the event)

Well, there's one memory that always crops up when I think of you. I considered posting something else, for variety, but, what can I say, this means something to me.

I remember our attempt to bar crawl all the campus bars, having at least one shot of vodka in every one. You organised it because Beaver was away, and you wanted to do something that was about you and your friends, rather than Beaver and his friends. Obviously you loved Beaver, but I think you needed to feel like yourself, I think you needed to do something that had nothing to do with him. You said somethign to that effect.

In anycase, we started in Halifax, 'cause that's where lots of us lived at teh time, and because it was a bit out of the way, and we probably wouldn't have made it back out there if we hadn't started there. You and Chris were big on the vodka, but I had to have a pint of cider after every shot just to wash the taste away. I think we played a bit of that mad taxi game whilst we were in Halifax.

Then we went to Goodricke, which I think was a bit crowded, so we didn't stay very long. Next I think we went to Vanbrugh (sp?) where we bumped into one of teh big band socs that Antony and Clare and that lot were in, and we said 'hi'. I think this is where you and Chris decided you were having a competition to see who could have the most shots of vodka.

Next and last came Langwith. I don't know what time we arrived there, but there we stayed until they kicked us out, singing bohemium rhapsody, and Disney songs - which Chris pretended not to know teh words to, though I think he later joined in. This is teh bar where teh drink hit me. I remember telling the Creative Writing peops that I wasn't at all drunk yet, whilst hiccuping.

Afterwards we went back to yours. I don't remember much about what we did there, except that we were singing bohemium rhapsody when teh porter kicked us out again.

I don't know exactly what makes this memory very... you, but it was your thing, and there was silliness, and drunkenness, and disney songs. And it was an evening that just seems incredibly free in my memory. We were being ourselves, and you were enjoying us being your friends, rather than Beaver's - I think that's nice. It's nice to feel valued as a friend.
