A Small Announcement

Hello everyone

I have a small announcement to make.

Beaver and I are engaged!!!!!!!

My left hand is now adorned with a 1/4 carat certificated diamond, set in platinum!! One of the Forever Diamonds from work, similar to the ones pictured in my journal over the last couple of weeks.

OH MY GOD! *squees* I've already texted you to say so, but it doesn't hurt to do it again. This is so incredibly cool. Congratulations you fabulous people. Your ring is simply beautiful.

You are possibly the most well matched couple I know, and I forsee years of happiness for you two wonderful people.

Is it too early to ask when you plan to get married? Is it looking like a long-term engagement, or are you looking to go the whole hog asap?

long term engagement on the cards at the moment. neither us nor our parents have that kind of money kicking around at the moment!

I'd estimate a good couple of years to go yet
