I like it when stuff happens, its good.

I shall start by saying "Yay" because of the snow, which quickly turns to "Grr" because of the snow, and a necessity to walk to work instead of cycling, which is poo.

Hmm so whats happened since I last posted.

Although I didnt drink all that much at Ros's, I did stay there till 3am, before driving home (she lives ridiculously close to me, for soneone I've never been to see before!). Got up at some stupid time like 8.30am the next day, as I was woken up my Fidget and Jamie getting up.

Monday I felt rubbish, in spite of huge quantities of sleep, so I took the day off. I had a splitting headache when I woke up, but slowly recovered as the day wore on. I spent the day with Mr Fidget, relaxing, watching films, and I went for a swim which was good, but also very bad.

Yesterday I came back to work.

which i guess aren't so funny when they happen to you...

Jamie was supposed to be going to Paris for lunch with his office today. This involved him getting up stupidly early, getting the train to Waterloo, then getting on the Eurostar to Paris. All expenses paid by the company, as a treat for them doing so well.

Sounds nice, I hear you say.

However, Jamie got up this morning at 5am, dressed, got on his bike and headed out into a blizzard to get to the station for half 5. Upon getting to the train station, he received a text which read "Paris cancelled. I'm not joking" from one of the office managers.

Turns out the company booked the Eurostar tickets for the 24th February not January!

D'oh!

So Jamie gets back on his bike, and cycles back to the house, again through a blizzard.

When I got up I found him curled up on the sofa, fast asleep using his arctic coat as a duvet. Says he didnt want to wake me up and be all cold at me.

Fidget though was apparently very cute, when Jamie came back at about 6am, it was still snowing, and Fidget ran out the front door when it got opened, only to stop, realise it was all cold and wet up to his knees, then notice the falling snow. By Jamie's account, he instantly turned very kittenish, and started leaping after snowflakes, trying to catch them with his paws and teeth. Jamie had to go back out and get him in again (we don't like him being out the front of the house near the roads) and he was very difficult to catch, apparently.

Very cute indeed.
