Oct. 8th, 2004 11:49 amwell i did more walking at work today.. racked up over 15,000 steps by the time i'd got home from work. although I did take a side trip to Tesco to get some chicken and potatoes for dinner. No meeting Beaver from work today though as its his day off, but we'll still go out for a walk I think, its nice to have that time together away from our computers and the tv etc. We actually talk to each other then. Plus its nice to have fresh air, and to walk alongside the river and occasionally see herons and ducks and cormorants. We've seen the occasional fish too, but no otters, although beaver assures me that there are probably otters here.
beav successfully did all the washing up. He also successfully hung up all the washing i did yesterday. however, he unsuccessfully managed to break one of our best wine glasses. Caro bought him a pair of lead crystal cut glasses for a birthday/xmas present a couple of years back. I believe she sponsored a monkey for him too. It was the year I adopted a beaver for him I remember that. Well they were adorable glasses, we dont get them out much, in case we break them. But I felt like making our evening with the Wolf Blass a little special, so used them. Of course, this leads to them being washed up, and I believe it was during this that one broke. Which is quite sad.
I've decided I like the new supervisor at work. I think she's come into the job with just the right approach to not make any mistakes. Sold a £250 today, but didnt take much pride in it.
