In the words of Ed, a guy we know from New Zealand who (up until a few days ago) played an internet game called Ectroverse with us. He's stopped playing now cos he's too busy, but posted a farewell message on the forum, which included personal messages for a lot of his friends from the game.

Ours was one of the few acknowledgements that didnt just say "you're great at this game etc". Which I thought was nice.

have just come back from the "Chester Pub Meet" as advertised on the Maelstrom section of Pagga.

Was really nice to
A) see and socialise with people other than Beaver
B) get to know better new people in the LRP world (cos they are all non-CP people)
c) find local people who are interested in setting up a D&D game that we could play in

was also nice to get out of the house and just be in a social atmosphere. Made me realise just how much I've missed going to the SF&F socials in York.

But nice to know that chester isnt as lonely as it once appeared
