i hate being ill

its not fair. i struggled through a slow day at work yesterday feeling slightly off-colour (headache, sore throat, that sort of thing) only to wake up this morning (and during the night) feeling like Death.

My head's all wrong, my throat isnt so much sore as it is just wrong, my nose doesnt work, i'm too hot and I ache all over. So I called in sick (something I'm not that happy with, as its a Saturday and as such my absence means everyone else has to work harder) and have spent the morning curled up on my sheepskin rugs under my quilt reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. But my book's finished now, so I'm fairly certain Beaver's going to try and make me do something useful in a little while.

I'm going to see how long I can get away with just sitting in front of my computer drinking my Mango and Passion Fruit tea.

aaaaah life giving soul warming soup. i'm starting to feel a little better, but i'd better not show myself as being too well, or beav will have me doing all sorts of things.

i love my bath

just spent a little while soaking in a bubble filled hot bath. did wonders for my feeling ill, if it werent for the fact that i cant breathe through half of my nose i wouldnt even know i was ill right now. its definately nice having a bath of my own again, after spending a year with only a walk-in wet room. showers are all well and good, but you cant beat a long hot soak when you're feeling down
