keeping it mercifully short for I am tired and cannot be bothered, plus typing in stupid long false nails is tricky.

Good stuff:
+ the Noble House plot. having 12 NPCs turn up and perform marvellously as the Heads of the other Houses for (it seemed) the sole enjoyment of me, Hodge, Jamie and Steph was fabulous. Varna as Isabella Sforza and Tris as Maximillian Baglioni were my favourite NPCs of the entire weekend
+ the Ros/Benjy character stuff was very cool
+ gate guarding as a family was awesome. "I'm terribly sorry, may we see your travel pass?" and not letting the Algaian warleader back into camp until one of House Domecq came and vouched for him, because he didnt have a travel pass.
+ all the fun we had with the pieces of the staff of Trask we were carting about, including trading bacon sarnies for more pieces (we had 4 at one point)
+ casually discussing with my IC father and uncle the arranged marriages we would plan for all of my cousins
+ deciding to marry the dauphin
+ Jamie taking out Brid in the shield charge game on Saturday night
+ not taking the field, on either day
+ coming home on Sunday during the battle for a shower and to watch Wales v France
+ turning a decent profit
+ our House's triumphant return from the field, having (between 5 of them) cast 6 spells, dealt 3 blows, taken one blow, and despatched one monster (between two people). the proud look on Benjy's face when he declared "We despatched an enemy!" was priceless
+ having an electricity supply. A fridge, electric lighting. Awesome.

Bad stuff:
- the cancelling of the House meeting as planned on Saturday evening kinda pissed me off rather, as we'd planned our entire event around it happening then
- not being able to properly celebrate Jamie's 30th because of the aforementioned rescheduling.
- locking my keys in my car and thus not getting off site until 11pm, although it did mean I got to witness most of the radio callsign naming in the tavern (missed the game team ones, but caught all the event staff and faction ones). and i had free ginger wine
