Ok, I rock. its official. What was a hole in the ground is now a plant and bark chip filled beauty. Of course, it will look much nicer when all the plants are flowering and my lobelias have grown and spread.

Just to warn you - lobelias supposedly only last one season. They are very thirsty. I just bought a load and put them in my front garden, only to find out that I'll probably have to do the same thing next year. Rubbish. But at least they're cheap. The tag on mine didn't say that they were annuals. Just thoguht I'd mention it.

Woohoo. Ours was never that bad (it was nice when we moved in) but we kinda neglected it a bit and I have been doing a lot of pruning and weeding...

Must garden more.
