YAY!

So, I am all happy today.

For I am getting promoted! YAY! Chrissy is leaving at end of April, and then I will be doing her job, so between now and then is lots of training as its all new to me. I will be entirely responsible for all the money in the company! Keeping track of it, making payments, doing all the relevant accounting reporty stuff, bank reconciliations, that sort of thing. So its much more responsibility than I have now, and a much more accountancy-orientated job.

And I get a three grand pay rise :-) so I am a happy bunny this evening.

although we have two different systems, so there is a huge account which has to be reconciled a lot to match them up. which is part of my job now. or will be. when i start my new job :-)

I'm not sure about the concept of a party ON Tink. It brings to mind images of those geisha girls who have to pretend to be dead while japanese men eat sushi off them. And frankly, a £3k payrise ain't worth THAT *grins*. That said....well done you!
