Got into work this morning and there was a lovely big parcel sitting on my desk from Amazon, containing my new shiny Buzz game.

So, what this means is... Ros - come play Buzz! And also, Caro, it says on the back that if you have two sets of buzzers you can have an 8 player game. Which sounds like fun :-)

In other news, I will be in Reading this afternoon for a BPP open day. What time do you finish work, and do you fancy a quick drink at all?

I finish at 5.30, a quick drink would be very pleasant! when does your open day finish? where would you like to meet up?

The open day finishes at 8pm (!!!) but I'm going to try and be there for about 4-5pm ish, so I don't lose too much of my day here. I don't know Reading hugely well, so I'll let you pick somewhere to go (just give me directions and / or landmarks!). Open Day is BPP, so in Broad St Mall.

ok well i'm at the other end of town (typical).

However, the pubs are more numerous/better at this end of town, so..

I would suggest Yates or the Walkabout, which shouldn't be too busy and have nice surroundings and drinks are not expensive.

So you'd have to come out of Broad Street Mall, walk back down Broad Street towards Marks & Spencer/John Lewis/The Oracle, then turn left when you get to Lloyds Bank/Moss Bros, walk up that side street till you get to the next main road (Friar Street) and cross over. Yates is directly opposite you and the Walkabout is behind Yates. so whichever one you prefer. the sofa's are comfier in the walkabout.

i am currently top of my high score leaderboard with nearly 8500 points (however that was from one 2 player game, where there is no pointstealer round!)
