chillis and garlic and ginger oh my

Last night Jamie and I made a very yummy sweet and sour stir fry with egg-fried rice. it was very nice. when we do a stir fry, I get the special priveledges of helping by preparing the chilli, garlic and ginger.

Now as you're all aware, this is a rather potent mix of juices to have on one's fingertips.

Fully aware myself of how dangerous these chemicals could be to the sensitive areas of (for example) my face, I immediately washed my hands, very thoroughly.

This somehow did not prevent me, less than 5 mins later, from putting my finger in my eye. Muchos pain! Cue several mins of me screwing up my eye going "argh, my eye!" while Jamie cleared a space and turned on the tap, so I could get my eye underneath it (figured it would be a bad idea to use my hands to rinse my eye).

managed to recover from that, only to later on in the evening do it again!

This morning, even now, this afternoon, I can still taste the chilli/garlic/ginger mix under my fingernails, even though I've done everything I can to get it off!

they sell a special soap in Lush in town to get stuff like that off your hands. it's yellow but i can't remember what it's called. as for the stuff that gets fish smells off your hands, and chilli. or something. it works, tis all i know.

and isn't manky green like demon in the dark which is my current favourite.

other than that, you are silly. should know better. but does. should put your knowledge into practice better :oP

Owch i onces got connectrated chill on my nose n that wasnt a great deal of fun.
A bit tilly though, well its a good leason to learn n lets face it it could have been a lot more painful had you got frisky first.

..I find carex handwash stuff neutralises most stuff (unless its onion smell coming out of skin :S)
