Grrrr why oh why does nail varnish never work for me?

I come back from renewal with lovely yellowey fingernails with green bits etc. So I decided to paint my nails before I went back to work today, so that when I was showing people jewelery and stuff, they would see lovely manicured nails, not horrid yellow things that make me look like a chain smoker. I go to boots, I buy Rock Hard Nail Polish from the Boots 17 range, which is supposed to last for up to 4 days and be chip resistant for at least 2. Its gone a bit crappy already.

In other news, I chatted to my mum for a while this evening.. my Aunty was taken into hospital yesterday morning, but she's ok, was just her angina. My parents are off to Italy on Saturday, Beav's are off to Austria next week, and my parents have just informed me that they are off to do a cruise down the Nile in February. Its not fair, theyre going to see the pyramids, the valley of the kings, and all sorts of other cool things in Egypt that I've wanted to see ever since I was a little girl who wanted to grow up to be an egyptologist.

I know when I'm older I'll get to do cool stuff like that too, as my mum and dad said, they've had to work hard for 30 years to get to the stage where they can go abroad twice a year. It must be nice to live like that though. I look forward to it.
