i hate flat packed furniture

ok so i said all the furniture was here. it appears i was lying.

beaver decided (in his infinite wisdom) that he needed a proper chair for him to sit at when he's at his computer. i dont see why he cant carry on sitting on my "ancient-wicker-stool-what-came-from-my-aunty-eva's-house-after-she-died" but he complained.

so he chose one from argos, when I checked the site online this morning, then said "Well you need something useful to do, go into town and do [insert random boring thankless bank-related task here] and you can pick up the chair on the way home"

Argos being on the opposite side of town to where we live, it being blisteringly hot (especially when one is carrying large heavy objects) and the box being very square with no hand holds and a very awkward size.

Well i've done it anyway. even though my response to the above statement was "Ok, I'll get it, but you can put it together, i'm bored of doing furniture now" and he replied with "No its ok, you do it, after all you did such a good job with everything else..."

the worst part is, despite my misgivings, i'm going to put the damn thing up for him anyway, cos its something to do..
