wow i had sausages cooked by beaver and i didnt die of fat overload or burned skin death. how odd.

managed to successfully make myself look great in work again by selling a £699 forever diamond with a 3 year insurance cover. my new manager, who the other day was being very mean and saying i couldnt have all my holiday requests, as they were all weekends (ie the events) said this morning that I could have them all, and then spent all day telling me i was great. which is nice :)

Cool...is it unusual to sell things that cost that much? I don't know how jewellry shops work (or indeed how to spell them...jewellery? No. Jewelry? Doesn't look right. Help!)...er...oh yes, are you on commission then? Or was it mainly because you sold the insurance cover too?

no commission unfortunately, just a crappy monthly bonus scheme that we never qualify for :)

because we sell so much varied junk, gifts, collectibles, cheap earrings etc, high value diamond sales are rare. and the forever range are exclusive to us and are pushed heavily by the company, we're supposed to sell one a week.

and yes lots of brownie points for selling insurance :)
