Bugger

bugger bugger bugger.

some of you may remember the silver ring Beav bought me ages and ages ago for our first anniversary. some of you may not. caro in particular, if she thinks back hard enough, might remember my excessive amount of girly squee at the time.

it was only a cheap ring, less than a tenner, but it meant the world to me. I've worn it constantly since I've been given it (except at events of course, so as not to turn it green).

When I got into work this morning, i discovered it had snapped close to the shoulder on one side. Most upset. Have booked it in for repair, so we'll see if our workshop can fix it for me. Beav has been very nice, and said I can have a new one if they cant fix it.

I feel naked now, as its not on my finger. :(

I remember that ring, and how much it meant to you. I hope it gets fixed successfully.

I remember a silver necklace that Mark gave me that I wore continuously for about six months before it snapped. It cost me more to fix it than it did to buy a new one, but the sentimental value was more than that.
