NEW YEAR

Ok people what is everyone doing? Beav and I need to work out a) where we'd like to be and b) if we can be there.

I'm trying to work out how much time i can blag off at work. Ideally, we want to be celebrating the New Year at a gathering of people-we-like, but with it being a weekend, and everyone being so far away, its going to involve planning.

So what are people doing? Or more importantly I suppose, what are people doing that Beaver and I would be invited to!

There's one reason to stay away :-) We're watching LOTR trilogy on New Year's Day (was gonna be on Hogmanay til I realised that bloke-face won't get here til abuot 7pm). Looks like Ben and Vix may be here too.

There's a party in York.
At my house.
There will be cocktails and a keg of ale.
Pretty much all of the younger crowd who will be in York at the time will be there.
Basically it's like what Jeff had last year but in a nicer house with more people and cocktails.
