Race for Life 2009

For those of you who were paying attention last year, you'll remember that black_faery and me ran the Race for Life. Well, this year, WE'RE DOING IT AGAIN!!!

I've just signed us up, and set up the fundraising page. Cunningly, it is the same address as last year. www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/tinkandros

So, to reflect the economic downturn, we've reduced our fundraising target from last year, we're aiming for £600 (which if everyone gift aids their donations, will become £750).

As an added incentive to donate (Aside from all the fabulous cancer researchy things), if we break our fundraising target before the race itself, I will dye my hair pink for the actual race. How does that sound?

Last year I note we had reached £675 by race day, so its not inconceivable that we could do it again this year!

tis 16 weeks till we race, so there is plenty of time!

I could do those pink highlights... *ponders*

It was discovered on Friday night that pink really suits me *grins* Although I'm not sure that pink *hair* would...but if you go pink, I will too :-) (But not all over, because that would be difficult and my hair would hate me!)

my theory on the pink hair runs

1. by then my hair will be much longer
2. by then my hair will also be much browner
3. by then it will be hot and summery, and i will be fed up of having longer hair
4. I can dye the ends of my hair a few inches in pink
5. when it fades to scary yellowy pink, I can have it chopped off
