I am very pleased with myself. Yesterday I sent a letter to the BBC News Magazine. And it got published!!!!

It's bizarre - even though the publish letters *every day* you feel as though you've entered some exclusive company. Although when my post was referenced as an in-joke my Paper Monitor I truly felt like I'd arrived.

well you kind of get the impression that unless you are one of the people who *always* get published, you'd have to send in millions of letters for just one to make it. but that one was only the second one I'd ever sent in :-)
