so, life then..

apparently its nearly November. How did that happen!

this year has flown by in a kind of rush, I really don't know where all my time has gone.

Hmm, lets be brief, for I should be working. Recently I have done the following things:

~ went to see Stardust in the cinema. had not read the book, but have read other Neil Gaiman books and they are good. film was very good. Robert de Niro was fantastic, as were the seven princes, and the witch.

~ discovered that I had not spent as much money as I thought I had, and so had enough spare cash to go buy myself some new boots, a whole two days before I was going to get them anyway! couldn't take pics yesterday, as batteries in camera were all sad, so pics to follow when I get round to it.

~ bought Mr Fidget new cat toys, on the basis that we've not tried him on small furry mice before and he might like them. Mr Fidget saw the mouse, sniffed the mouse, was not interested in the mouse. When the mouse smelt like catnip, he was more interested. but it wasnt moving, so he didnt care. when mouse was on carrier bag, being rustled by a feather stick inside the bag, he was more interested, but it still didnt move enough. will have to tie string to mouse, and then he will chase it.

~ found the perfect new scratching tower for Fidget on ebay, but can't get it till closer to Christmas (boo). its taller than the one he has now, with more levels and things.

~ bought orange dazzle dust eye shadow and orange nail varnish. I have a halloween themed fancy dress party tonight, courtesy of work colleagues, so got me a black and orange witch outfit, complete with stripey hat and tights, and bright orange hair! will definately be posting pictures of that tomorrow.
