(no subject)

well a week of working 1-9 has finally caught up with me. i feel completely drained, both physically and mentally. i think 1-9 is the most difficult shift to work, it completely eats up your day, so you cant really manage anything that useful before or after work, and most of the calls after about 7pm are hellish evil complaints or complicated queries, rather than simple payments or card activations.

but this weekend should hopefully do a lot towards fixing me. there is no lrp event, no need to go or be anywhere. currently plans involve going to Cheshire Oaks for the day tomorrow, maybe visiting the Blue Planet Aquarium, shopping, and generally chatting and spending time with each other. there is a grand prix, and the wimbledon finals. there is housework to be done, and random boxes of stuff to sort out.

there could of course have been much driving, and a partay. however as much as I would like to go to Reading tomorrow, for it would be much fun and I would get to see lots of interesting and fun people, i am very aware that it would be a Bad Thing (TM) in general, what with petrol costs and having to drive a lot on motorways with only one wing mirror, and too much alcohol, and probable arguments.

and of course, i will see most of these fine people next weekend at Maelstrom, which will be just as nice.
