went out straight from getting back from work today, wandered through town attempting to find a non-expensive restaurant that wasnt La Tasca (as we're going there next week when Gemma comes to visit), eventally settled in a nice italian restaurant off St Werberg St which we hadnt been to before.
The idea was, when we left the flat, was that I would be buying dinner as there was money in my bank account, what with me havng just been paid and all. We got to teh restaurant, ended up having the full 3 courses (we normally only have 2) and not one, but two bottles of wine (this is quite possibly the first time beav and i have been to dinner and had more than one bottle of wine). So I am now quite drunk!
and the best part was, when it came to paying the £50something bill, beav decided we should use his credit card rather than our bank account, so he actually paid for it too! and was the only one out of the pair of us to have change in his wallet, so paid the tip as well!

one of the people i used to work with at H Samuel, Sabrina, was working at the restaurant as a waitress, but i didnt actually get to speak to her as i'm not sure if she recognised me (what with me having black hair now and all) and she wouldnt share any form of eye contact with me the whole time we were there, even when she was clearing our table when we left.
ah well. the food was very nice and fairly reasonably priced. and i had the best Tiramisu in the world ever!
need to sit down and chill out for a bit now, as its not even 9pm and i've drunk far too much!
