Apr. 6th, 2005 09:11 pmI have been surprisingly useful in the last couple of days. managed to get many things done that I wouldnt have had time for had I been working.
admittedly i havent been particularly useful in the "finding a new job category" as I still havent got one, but there are many other things i have done.
these include cleaning the kitchen, buying Beaver new hiking boots, sorting out some of the crap from the house in general, and re-potting my two beautiful Dragon Trees, George and Henry.
For those who remember them, George is now two and a half years old, and has grown to a whopping almost three feet high. He's got so big now that I've had to put him on the floor by the front room window, as no surface is big enough to have room for him. Henry is a year behind George, so isnt quite as big, but he's growing fast.
I'm very pleased that they're both still alive and well, as my cactus died shortly after i bought it in the first year (i figured a cactus would be an easy plant to keep).
Now i have 2 spare plant pots. I might have to buy some more plants.
Does doing gardening make me old?
