Dec. 3rd, 2004 09:41 pmI dont get why so many people seem to get so depressed during the winter. Sure tis not a particularly great time of year, what with the cold and the wet and the ice and the snow etc, and I dont really like it, compared to say summer or spring. But i dont see the point in becoming irrationally depressed etc. weird
Beaver says its because they're a bunch of "women who generally wallow in their own self-pity". maybe the wine is getting to him.
speaking of which, after a horrid day at work, Beav has successfully cheered me up no end, with a lovely warm flat (have i ranted about the central heating yet? maybe I'll do that tomorrow), really nice posh yummy food, a big chocolate fudge cake, and an absolutely scrumptious bottle of wine. Wolf Blass Presidents Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2001. was £10 for the bottle. Was absolutely delicious. Its times like this that make me forget any reason I may ever have for disliking beav, and make me feel ever so lucky to have him.
