was going to update last night but couldnt be bothered as was having too much fun elsewhere

the prospect of another evening spent watching tv/playing solitaire on my pc while beaver played NWN was looming.. however, he excelled himself by creating a delicious lasagne (beef, but a little too beefy for my taste, since it was the first beef i've eaten since i gave it up all those years ago), opening a bottle of wine, clearing all the LARP kit out of the living room and curling up on the rugs with me to watch the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. We watched 6 episodes last night, and I have to say, although I never watched it as a kid, it is by far the best children's cartoon I have ever seen, with the possible exception of Stoppit and Tidyup, but thats more of a preschool age cartoon whereas D&D is for older kids, so they can both be the best (in their agegroups).

end result of this is now that my computer is the wrong way round, as the only DVD player we have is in my computer. so the monitor gets turned around. I've brought the mouse and keyboard over now, so I can sit in my ever-so-comfy papasan and play on my computer and watch TV at the correct angle. all at the same time. its like heaven.

went into town today, to buy a new pair of boots. Knee high, brown leather, with heels. something of a first for me, as they are the first high heeled boots i've owned that are a) not black and b) have thin spiky heels rather than big chunky heels. I've surprised myself by being able to walk in them too, and not falling over. They are from M&S and were £79. we popped into Lee Louise too which was a mistake, as every time we go in there we buy me something! New skirt this time (was my dressing gown last time). patchwork, very bright colours, lots of yellows etc. was only £20 and is very funky. I also spotted an absolutely GORGEOUS (but very gothy) red and black lacey coat thing. I tried it on and it was great (perfect for Wendyhouse and similar type clubs, also could be used at Maelstrom maybe) but it was expensive and I dont really need it.

Kevin and Gribs have also now expressed an interest in seeing us next weekend, so I ought to get my arse in gear and try and organise something, as everyone lives all over the place. Tim's london way, northampton is well, northampton way and I think kev and gribs are cambridge. Theoretically I have 4 days, so can do Tim on Friday, and work my way back towards Chester over the weekend.... somebody do my thinking for me and come up with a foolproof plan... please

forgot to mention in my last post, last night when beav and i went out, we managed to catch most of the organised Fireworks display at the Racecourse. it was fabulous

i'm now watching a Robin Hood film on itv, since they've cancelled the showing of The Railway Children because of the train crash. So far we've met Robin, Little John, and Will Scarlet, and they all look like ritch keeling, to a greater or lesser degree. its very disturbing. Will Scarlet in particular
