supertinksso beaver broke his official tea mug this morning. while in the process of cooking me breakfast. which meant I had to finish cooking my breakfast while he cleaned up the mess, and i narrowly avoided getting boiling hot tea all over my leg.
it was one of my favourite mugs too. one i've had since i was young. it had a partner, but my cat Mitzi broke that one years ago. the mug was brown, hand made pottery, with a cats face on the front. the one Mitz smashed had a smiling cat, the one beaver broke had a confused cat. i forget where they came from.
so I have bought beaver a new mug to drink tea out of, since he's not getting his hands on any of mine. Its got a white inside, which is a shame, as that means i'll have to clean it more often, but it is kinda funky. it has tweety pie on it.
