i'm getting a bit lax..

so I do apologise.

First things first, The engagement-train appears to have steamed on and caught up a few more couples in its momentum. I now know so many couples who have recently taken this particular plunge, that I've lost track of who I've congratulated and who I havent!

So I shall take the opportunity to announce a general Congratulations to anyone who has recently got engaged/started wedding plans etc.

In other news, I love my new job! Its great! So much less workload, so much less hassle, so much closer to my house, so much more money, fewer people (therefore fewer arseholes), much more generous company. In short, 110% improvement on Danka!

Although, I do believe at the next major company do (Xmas dinner, probably), I shall endeavour not to drink as much as I did last Thursday!

In the cat world, Fidget has not actually left the house/garden since his escapade with his previous owners last week. He is, in fact, even more soppy and loving than he was before hand! He didn't actually leave the house for 2 days after he came running back on the Tuesday night!

We haven't heard from them since. Jamie did phone them and leave a message when he came back that evening, but they never called back, so we're not going to bother. His microchip is registered to me now anyway.

I have a new computer game, its called "The Movies", its awesome. First game I've played in ages where I actually just lose track of time. I turned it on at 9am this morning (I woke up in a very awake mood, but Jamie wanted to sleep, so I just put it on to keep me occupied till he got up), and the first time I stepped away from teh computer, it was 3pm! I had no idea, I thought it was about 12 or something. Basically, you're in charge of a 1920s movie studio. you have to hire actors, directors, crews, scriptwriters, the whole lot. Its very simple to navigate, and very absorbing! Haven't played a game this good since "Transport Tycoon Deluxe".

Feels really weird to have a weekend to myself, have absolutely nothing pressing to do, its great!
