Question for Caro

Hey Caro

Where do those awesome feather-onna-stick cat toys come from? I can't find one anywhere, and I want to get one for Fidget...

I've only managed to find one, and it's £1.99 from Smyleepets (the link is on Caro's website). If you manage to find any for a) cheaper, b) not online please let me know cos my lot love 'em and I can't find them anywhere either! :-)

yeah i found one online somewhere else that was £1.99, but by the time you added postage and everything it got a bit silly.

Exactly! And given the fact that Tiny would do a Dante and shred it within a week, I'm not sure I want to be spending that much on it. :-)

well I'm not sure how Fidget will respond to it, but he doesnt strike me as the kind of cat that'll chase pointless small cat toys like balls and furry mice and things. more the kind of cat that will play with you, but not on his own.

mind you, he's not 100% healthy right now, so he doesnt have spare energy for playing. we'll soom see what kind of cat he turns into!

They come from random pet shops or from eBay!

I've seen them in Pets At Home, which most big cities have. Dunno if that helps....

I couldnt find them in Pets at Home, which is what prompted me asking. They don't have them in Tesco either

I've never fond them in Pets at Home, and Tesco are rubbish for pet stuff.

However, if you change Fidget's appointment and come over this evening, I have some you could take away :-)

Amusingly, Tesco started to try and sell horsey things - they were rubbish, but very cheap. The only thing worth buys were lead ropes, but they sold out of them. And no good when your horse is monster-sized so none of the cheap rugs fitted. We were in Pets At Home the other week looking at Lizards, and I could have sworn that I saw cat toy sticks in a little pot. But maybe that was Cambridge, or maybe they were something else feathery - can't think what though.

I think ebay is the best bet, you can get ones like this:

for less than £3
