Its just occurred to me.
Yesterday marks my 6th week of not having had a cigarette.
I havent smoked for 6 weeks. And I've hardly noticed that I havent been smoking either. Surprising lack of cravings.
Its very cool.
Jamie's down to about 2 fags a day now as well, but he's been having to cut down slowly to wean himself off them, he was far more addicted than me so couldnt just go cold turkey.
But in a month or two, he'll be free of them totally as well.


New Years resolutions-wise, I havent made any. All I'd like is to make sure I end 2006 in less debt than I started it in.
Also, I am making a concious effort to improve my diet and fitness, but not going all out crazy fad fitness regime or anything. I've started to cut out chocolate, sweets, crisps and fizzy drinks (my teeth problems mean I cant have high sugar foods anymore), and I'm making sure I get my 5-a-day fruit/veg. Other than that, the food I eat is fine.
And I've started doing very light weight work, and I now own a skipping rope. Sadly its too cold and wet to do much exercise outside. Soon I shall drag myself to the gym to cycle as well.
