owweeee

ok, time to face my fears.

I have a slight problem with one of my teeth, in that it has a gaping hole in it (too much cherry coke, not enough dental care..)

last night, while tucking in to a lovely shepherds pie I made, i got a peppercorn stuck in said hole. This hurt like hell.

i got it out, sat going ow for a bit, then discovered a bit of my tooth had come off.

so i now have to ring a dentists and get an appointment.

i am very scared of going to the dentist. probably why i've been putting it off for so long.

Jamie says he'll come with me though, and hold my hand.

{{{hugs}}} I have complete sympathy in fearing teh dentists after so long, and I've never even had a dentist do anything bad to me, I'm just afraid taht they will.

I was scared of the dentists for years since i was really young, But in the past year i had to go, it was the first time in about 14 years that i had. Once i got there i realised it wasn't all that scary afterall, some things change in perspective as you age i guess.

I am petrified of dentists, ( to phobic levels ) and I thoroughly recommend getting the stuff that sedates you. It costs about 12 quid extra at a private practice but the money is *sooo* worth the lack of angst. You sit down with the nice man, he rubs your arm, you wake up in bed with perfect teeth. You need someone nice to take you home and put you to bed though..
