MESSAGE FOR THE YORKITES

I've just sent an email round, but know I've missed people out as I dont have up-to-date emails in my hotmail contact list, so in an attempt to access more of them, here is the message I have sent:

Jamie and I are coming up to York on the 10th December (Saturday). It would be great if we got a chance to see you all while we are there, so I am suggesting we have some form of get-together on the Saturday evening.

I am open to suggestions as to what manner of get-together we have, be it a house party (if anyone has a house they are willing to host a party in) or a gathering in a pub (any pub, I'm open to suggestion, campus or town is good). One thing I would like is to get any new first years you've converted (ie new SF&F members, particularly LRPers - and no, I'm not going to be trying to force any of them to be goblins..) so I can meet them and say hi, cos they're bound to be interesting and mad.

Does anyone have any good ideas? We will be arriving from lunchtime - mid-afternoon ish sort of time, so if anyone's up for doing anything in the afternoon too that would be cool.

So.. let me know if anyone has any groovy ideas etc

So has Jamie decided to come after all then? Cool, this does mean one of you may win up sleeping on the livingroom floor as it is only a single bed in a very small room... get in touch and we can sort out what's going on!

Yeah Jamie's coming too, but he's allergic to hamsters, so we've booked ourselves into a B&B so we get to have like a proper double bed and ensuite bathroom and stuff.
