first day of new job...

.. well that went by slowly.

today was the "overview" of the whole shebang, the company, the job itself, etc etc all teh legal stuff to do with data protection etc

much yawning was induced.

the woman doing the training was highly disorganised and very ditzy.

however there were lots of lovely people there so i think it will be ok. the job doesnt look too difficult, as i have already seen teh worst side of it and know I could handle it (i listened in on some very bad calls this afternoon). so am feeling nice and positive.

couldnt take the thursday off, but have the friday, but since Wigan is so nice and close we're going to drive over to the site after work. 'twill be light enough to put up the tent and then chill out for the rest of the evening, with any luck, and then be frightfully useful on the friday morning. or something.

i am determined to be there on the thursday night for much needed socialising. and Jamie and Kieran owe me much beer. :D
