Happy New Year!
Illness, lack of time/money and a lack of inspiration have kept Beav and I in Chester for tonight, rather than at a party in York or anywhere else. But you know, I wouldnt prefer to be anywhere else.
Jools Holland and Eric Clapton on the telly (after a good 3 hours worth of Friends on channel 4), Beav at my side, fireworks outside and a nice bottle of Taittinger Champagne. What more could I ask for?
Wherever you are, whatever you did, whoever you were with, I hope you all greeted the New Year in an appropriately silly and fun place with people you love.
I wish you all far more success and happiness and prosperity in 2005 than you have asked/wished for.
