Had a lovely day off yesterday, went into Wrexham to do a bit of christmas shopping, and finally got to see what a Millenium refit looks like in one of our stores. Cant wait for them to relocate us so we can have one too. It's great. will make our jobs so much easier.
Spent the rest of the day in the flat chilling out with DVDs, ("Holy Man" and "Pirates of the Carribean") until about 4.30, when my new media storage unit arrived, and I put that together (with surprising ease). Have ranged my DVDs on it in alphabetical order, it is surprising to see them all together I didnt think I had so many. it is reassuring to know how few of them I actually paid full price for.
and there'll be 18 more (at least) after christmas! Cos Beaver has ordered me the Harry Potter 6 disc box set, and the LoTR extended trilogy 12 disc box set. yay for box sets.
Last night we went to the Theatre, for a bit of culture. An amateur (well, final year performing arts students, so not as amateurish as they could have been) production of Terry Pratchett's "Guards! Guards!". It was excellent and we really enjoyed it.
Managed to get a lie in this mornign as well as I wasnt starting work till 12. But am very tired now and not looking forward to next week (I'm in 6 days, including sunday, only get thursday off and apart from tues and sun am in 8-6 every day). Ah well Xmas will be over soon. At the moment its not looking like we're going to do very well for Xmas Bonus either. Which is annoying, cos top whack for me is £1400. which would be nice.
