lots of stuff happened this weekend

And I'm not all that inclined to talk about much of it.

So I will be brief.

There was swimming (as previously mentioned) and house tidying, and cooking of a very yummy lasagne.

Sheena (girl from work - trying to hook her up with single housemate) came round to watch the rugby. Came over at half 1, stayed till about 11pm.

There was rugby (which was not so good, and shall not be mentioned), yummy lasagne (which was very very nice, with its layers of mozarella, and homemade bechamel sauce) and much wine. Too much wine, as it turned out, as Sheena and I got through 4 bottles of red. There were magnetic ants, and Buzz, and I forget much of the latter stages of the evening - when Andy returned from a work dinner wearing a sombrero, I think my brain decided to leave.

Andy and Sheena seemed to get on very well some more, and as Andy hadn't been drinking, he gave Sheena a lift home. However, he was very gentlemanly and noble and things, and so didnt take advantage of her when she drunkenly invited him in for coffee!

But its all going well there, I think.

Sunday was mostly being hung over for me, failed utterly to go swimming, didnt get up till 10, had a shower, took some anti-pain drugs, and Jamie dragged me out for fresh air and exercise. I felt rubbish until about 3pm, when the rugby started, and I'd drunk lots of water and juice and had yummy fresh baked organic bread for lunch. By the evening, I was feeling human again. England beating France was entertaining, but also worrying for next weekend.

Jamie made yummy food for dinner (chicken breasts baked in the oven with mushrooms and garlic) and we watched "Over the Hedge" as it was on Sky Box Office and we couldnt be bothered to go to the cinema.

9pm came and with it the remembrance that I was supposed to be at the service station on the M4 to collect my amazing prizes, so we jumped in the car and legged it down the motorway, where we met up with the lovely Rich, who was very Welsh! We chatted about rugby and stuff, and he gave me my signed rugby ball, which now takes pride of place on top of the speaker behind the telly.

We had a fun half an hour working out who's signatures were who, and have recognised most of them. Am going to pull a list off teh net of everyone who was on the team, to try and recognise the last few signatures that we are confused about.

Then I dyed my hair black-red, and went to bed.
