change of weekend plans
Well, car is broken, which meant no hen weekend for Tinks.
But all was not lost, as it meant I got to watch Wales thrashing the Pacific Islanders in the rugby, as well as Ireland beating South Africa.
Am currently enjoying my way through my recording of yesterdays embarrassment for England (tee hee). I've also managed to buy new shelves and put them up (I love building flat packed furniture, I have no idea why, but its loads of fun!) so Jamie's huge collection of crap books (otherwise known as Warhammer/Warhammer 40,000/Forgotten Realms novels) is now out of the way yet still accessible.
Also means the huge towering pile of board games will become less of a health hazard, as I'll be able to split it up over two shelves.
And I bought a new dragon tree, to accompany my older dragon trees, George and Henry, in the front room. I have named the new one Cochyn. He looks very small compared to his big brothers!
Fidget has been very quiet and sad this weekend, I think its because Jamie's not here. He really does miss us when we're not around. He hardly ate anything yesterday. But he's eaten this morning, and he even managed not to attack Crotchspider when he came a-calling earlier on.
He did do a fantasic meer kat impression when he spotted the white-and-tabby stray in the garden though, that was very amusing.
